Beta Group sponsor the Rossendale jobs fair
On the 31st October 2014 Beta Group were a proud sponsor of the Rossendale jobs fair held at Fearns Community Sport College, Bacup.
Organised and headed by Rossendale MP Jake Berry, the event was a huge success drawing in crowds of over 100 in the first hour!
Aiming to boost employment in the local area the event saw big names including Beta Group encourage locals to get back into work, a feat Martin Lewis Beta Group’s MD Is keen to support.
‘As a local company I want to employ local people. So many people commute into Manchester every morning when there are fantastic opportunities right on their door step, so holding an event like this is a fantastic way to show people they don’t need to do so’.
Representing Beta Group was Operations Manager Julie Walton and Marketing Assistant Amy License.
‘It was a great day and thankfully there was a huge amount of interest in working for Beta. We have a range of vacancies available ranging from apprenticeships right through to managerial positions, so really something for everyone. We now have a mountain of CV’s to get through and would just like to thank everyone who showed an interest’.
